In our care your baby will:
- have lots of cuddles and attention
- have an individual care plan that follows his or her routine at home as closely as possible
- have a minimum of one carer for every three babies
- be looked after by the same carers every day and, in particular, one keyworker will record their developmental milestones and progress – mapped according to ‘From Birth to Three Matters’ curriculum
- have a separate cot room to provide a soothing environment for sleeping
- be looked after in safe and calm surroundings with soft padded walls for safety but are also bright and stimulating with activities in order to develop a sense of discovery
- have soft cosy areas to play and rest
- have a separate nappy changing area and feeding area
- have cotton nappies supplied unless disposable ones are preferred
- have toys which are developmentally appropriate – baby gyms, soft toys, gentle music, art and craft materials, mobiles, puzzles and books
- go outdoors in the garden and go for pushchair walks
