In our care your baby will:

• have lots of cuddles and attention
• have an individual care plan that follows his or her routine at home as closely as possible
• have a minimum of one carer for every three babies
• be looked after by the same carers every day and, in particular, one keyworker will record their developmental milestones and progress – mapped according to ‘From Birth to Three Matters’ curriculum
• have a separate cot room to provide a soothing environment for sleeping
• be looked after in safe and calm surroundings with soft padded walls for safety but are also bright and stimulating with activities in order to develop a sense of discovery
• have soft cosy areas to play and rest
• have a separate nappy changing area and feeding area
• have cotton nappies supplied unless disposable ones are preferred
• have toys which are developmentally appropriate – baby gyms, soft toys, gentle music, art and craft materials, mobiles, puzzles and books
• go outdoors in the garden and go for pushchair walks
