French at Sunny Days
Bonjour!!
Once a week each preschool is visited by Isabel, our French teacher, who does great Fun French activities with the children which encourages them to learn the language.
It is impossible to overestimate how useful it is in the modern world to have knowledge of a foreign language (exams, employment, business, travel...)
You are never too young to start learning:
Now is the best time to start
It is easy for pre-school children, they are little sponges, it is effortless for them
They are not inhibited
Learning French familiarises them with the neighbouring culture
Later in life, it will make it easier to learn other languages (if they so wish)
It gives them a better understanding and insight into the English language
How do children learn French at Sunny Days?
They learn through play: Nursery rhymes, songs, games...
They are spoken to in French
They acquire a wide range of everyday vocabulary
The emphasis is on good pronunciation
They speak when they are ready
The children love learning French and enjoy speaking French words at home with Mum and Dad.
