In our care your school-age child will:

• have a great time and plenty of choice
• have an individual care plan
• have a minimum of one carer for every eight children
• be looked after by the same carers every day
• be dropped off and collected by Sunny Days staff in our safe and colourful minibus - on occasions a reputable taxi service may be used to support the minibus service
• be eligible to attend from any local school up to age 14 years
• be offered regular refreshments as well as a water spring which will be available at all times
• have cushions and a cosy area for resting
• be looked after in safe and secure surroundings with large display areas for their artwork
• have a range of activities to choose from including using one of our bank of PC’s, doing homework, or simply relaxing with friends, a book or a video
• have their own toilet facilities
• have toys which are developmentally appropriate – software on computers, farmyards, balls, brio train sets, lego, pegs and threading boards, wooden sorting and learning toys, art and craft materials, playstation games, board games, videos, puzzles and books
• have creative play activities such as play dough, painting, growing and cooking
• during the holidays, have a wide range of activities based around a changing theme
• participate in regular exercise outdoors and in our soft play gym
• go on regular outings and trips
