In our care, your baby will have an individual care plan that follows his or her routine at home as closely as possible.
Your baby will also be looked after by the same carers each day.
Our baby and infant rooms are safe and calm for quiet play. In the soft areas there are baby gyms, soft toys, gentle music and age appropriate art and craft materials which stimulate and develop a sense of discovery.
There is one carer for every three babies or infants. Separate cot rooms provide a soothing environment for sleeping.
In our care your baby will:
- have lots of cuddles and attention
- have an individual care plan that follows his or her routine at home as closely as possible
- have a minimum of one carer for every three babies
- be looked after by the same carers every day and, in particular, one keyworker will record their developmental milestones and progress mapped according to the Early Years Foundation Stage
- have a separate cot room to provide a soothing environment for sleeping
- be looked after in safe and calm surroundings with soft padded walls for safety but are also bright and stimulating with activities in order to develop a sense of discovery
- have soft cosy areas to play and rest
- have a separate nappy changing area and feeding area
- have cotton nappies supplied unless disposable ones are preferred
- have toys, which are developmentally appropriate baby gyms, soft toys, gentle music, art and craft materials, mobiles, puzzles and books
- go outdoors in the garden and go for pushchair walks
