The deputy manager will assist the manager in the day-to-day running of Sunny Day Nurseries’ setting including the management of staff and premises, the welfare, learning and development of children and liaison with parents, in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.

– To work alongside the manager to manage a nursery business to achieve key goals being a high quality childcare service, salesincome, credit control and cash collection, and meeting resource and budget targets.In the absence of the manager, to take full responsibility for all aspects of the operation of Sunny Day Nurseries’ setting.

– To promote Sunny Day Nurseries to parents, potential parents, the community and to professionals.

– To actively promote equal opportunities for all children, their families and staff, with due respect and consideration for gender, race, language, disability, age religion, culture, sexuality and class.
