Meet our mealtime stars

We provide delicious, nutritious meals and snacks developed in collaboration with nutritionist Melanie Smith.

Melanie is a registered nutritionist working as part of the Early Years Nutrition Partnership programme — an independent social enterprise devoted to improving the health of young children, which we are proud to be a part of.

The dynamic duo that brings Melanie’s brilliant meal plans to life is our in-house Children’s Chef Sarah Halliwell and our kitchen assistant Kevin.

Everything is made on-site using fresh ingredients that are delivered daily. Sarah and Kevin lovingly prepare breakfast, a morning and afternoon snack and a 3-course hot lunch for each of our little ones, making sure they’ve got all the energy they need to save the day.

We like to keep mealtimes and snack times interesting at Sunny Days, which is why the menu changes every Season.

Melanie, Sarah and Kevin are always excited to hear what our little ones and their parents think of our food and use that feedback to continually evolve our menus.

There really is something for everyone as all of our meals and snacks include variations that cater to allergies, as well as dietary and cultural requirements. Vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free and more — it all looks and tastes great thanks to our fantastic team.
